RING SIZE GUIDE
Method 1: Measure Using a Paper Strip (for finding ring circumference)
- Prepare a Strip of Paper: Cut a thin strip of paper (around 1 cm wide and 10 cm long).
- Wrap Around Your Finger: Wrap the paper around the base of the finger you want to measure. Make sure it’s snug, but not too tight, as you’ll want your ring to fit comfortably.
- Mark the Spot: Where the end of the paper meets itself, make a small mark with a pen.
- Measure the Length: Lay the paper strip flat and measure the distance from the end of the paper to the marked point in millimeters. This is your finger’s circumference.
- Find Your Ring Size: Use a ring size chart to match the circumference measurement with your ring size.
Method 2: Measure an Existing Ring (for finding ring diameter)
- If you already have a ring that fits you well, you can measure its diameter to find your size.
- Choose the Right Ring: Select a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
- Measure the Inner Diameter: Using a ruler or caliper, measure the diameter (the distance across the center of the ring from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge). Measure in millimeters for accuracy.
- Match with a Ring Size Chart: Use the measurement to find the corresponding ring size in a ring size chart based on the inner diameter.
Tips for Accurate Measurement
- Measure your finger when it’s warm, as cold temperatures can make your fingers slightly smaller.
- Make sure the ring or paper isn’t too tight or too loose.
- Double-check the measurement if possible.
